It’s not just about image production! Introducing useful ways to use Canva

Did you know that Canva is a design tool that allows even non-designers to intuitively create eye-catching, banners, business cards, and flyers?

Create stylish images in no time using a wide variety of professionally created design templates.

Canva has a rich menu and is a tool that can be used for a wide range of purposes.

So this time, I would like to introduce some useful ways to use Canva that I found interesting from the perspective of an active web designer, along with some basic knowledge of Canva.

What is Canva?

Canva is an Australian-originated design tool that can be used in your browser.

There is no need for complicated operations like with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, and you can create designs just by dragging and dropping without any specialized knowledge.

You can use a wide variety of high-quality templates for free, and the images you create can be directly uploaded to SNS such as Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.

7 features of Canva

  • Over 250,000 templates are available for free
  • Over 100 design types
  • Can be stored in cloud storage of 5GB or more
  • Windows/Mac computer apps available for free
  • Also available as an Android/iOS smartphone app
  • High-quality photos and videos are available
  • Share and edit with your team

Canva has a lot of features even on its free plan.

If you want to be particular about materials and templates, you can purchase the materials individually, or with a paid plan, you can use over 420,000 templates and over 75 million high-quality photos and videos.

Canva is OK for commercial use

Creatives created using Canva can be used commercially. There is no need to write credits for both free and paid plans.

However, please note that logos created using materials in Canva cannot be registered as trademarks.

In addition, resale of materials and acts that make the subject of the photograph look bad are prohibited.

If you are unsure whether it is available, please contact Canva to confirm.
